Admissions to B.Ed course for 'Other State Category' against vacant seats in various Colleges
of Medication under self - financing scheme recognized by NCTE and affiliated to H.P. University will in the University Auditorium (Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hall, Shimla) 265 Seats for Medical Stream, 263 seats of Non Medical and 331 seats for Arts Stream. Desirous candidates can come and apply on the spot. Eligibility and merit position will be determined on the same day and candidates will be required to join the allotted college on the vary next day.
Eligibility Conditions :
Eligibility For Admission B.Ed Course: The candidates who wish to take admission in B.ED regular course in any of the colleges should fulfill the following criteria:
- (i) The applicant should possess a Bachelor's Degree (Medical, Non Medical, Arts or Commerce) with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC,ST) from a recognized University established by law in India.
(ii) The candidate should not be more than 26 years (General Category boy candidates ) 28 years (General category, girl candidates ), 29 years (SC and ST candidates boys and girls )
- The candidate should have the following Combination of subjects at the Graduation level:
(1) MEDICAL STREAM:
B.Sc Pass Course with Zoology, Chemistry and any other Science subject
B.SC Pass course with Botany, Chemistry and other Science subject. Or
B.SC Honours in Zoology with Chemistry as subsidiary subject Or
B.Sc Honours in Botany with Chemistry as subsidiary subject Or
(2) NON - MEDICAL STREAM:
B.Sc Pass Course with Phy., Math.and any other science subject Or
B.Sc Pass Course with Chem.,Math and any other Science subject Or
B.Sc Honours in Physics with Mathematics as subsidiary subject Or
B.Sc Honours in Chemistry with Mathematics as subsidiary subject Or
(3) ARTS STREAM:
B.S pass Course with English, Hindi or Sanskrit and at least one of the following subject viz. History, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Public Administration
, Sociology and Mathematics Or
B.A Honours in English, Hindi or Sanskrit with and of the following as subsidiary or additional subsidiary subject: History, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Public Administration; Sociology, Mathematics or BA Honours in History, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Public Administration, Sociology or Mathematics with any of the following as subsidiary or additional subsidiary subject: English, Hindi, Sanskrit
(4) COMMERCE STREAM:
B.Com / B.Com (Honours) with any one of the languages from Hindi, English or Sanskrit
