IIT-JEE is a joint entrance exam for getting admission into seven IIT´s all over India at Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, New Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Roorkee.Every year many aspirants not only from all over India but international aspirants also take this entrance exam for getting admission into bachelor degree course.

Application Form And How To Apply : A candidate can submit application either on-line through internet or off-line through paper application.
  • Off-line:  A candidate can buy an application form with information brochure from any one of the designated branches of banks by paying Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD/Female candidates (Yellow Colour envelope) or Rs.1000/- for all other candidates (White Colour envelope). The Information brochure contains details regarding application procedure, syllabus of JEE, examination centres, courses available at various institutions, counselling, fee structure and other relevant information about JEE-2009.
  • On-line:  Application material can also be obtained, by sending a demand draft along with two self-addressed slips, from the "Chairman, JEE", IIT Bombay, Mumbai-400 076; IIT Delhi, New Delhi - 110 016; IIT Guwahati, Guwahati - 781 039; IIT Kanpur, Kanpur - 208 016; IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur- 721 302; IIT Madras, Chennai - 600 036. IIT Roorkee, Roorkee - 247 667.

Eligibility:
  • A candidate has to satisfy ALL the eligibility conditions given below:
    a) A candidate can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive years. Those who have appeared in JEE in 2007 or earlier are not eligible for appearing in JEE-2009.
    b) Candidates appearing in JEE-2009 should have either passed the qualifying examination in 2008 or should be appearing in 2009. They should also satisfy the specific eligibility criteria in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination before October 1, 2007 are not eligible to write JEE-2009.
